2024-25 My Community Cares Grants

The mission of My Community Cares (MCC) is to strengthen families and support communities.

Attorneys are needed to help MCC. The Louisiana Bar Foundation (LBF) will administer funds for a full-time attorney position fully dedicated to MCC work. Any Louisiana 501c3 agency may apply for funds for a full-time attorney dedicated to MCC work. Apply for LBF My Community Cares Grants here!

2024-25 The Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP)

LRAP provides forgivable loans of up to $7,500 per year to attorneys working in a public interest position.

LRAP applications for 2024-25 funding will be available online beginning Dec. 1, 2023. The deadline for submitting the LRAP application is February 23, 2024. For more information on LRAP click here or email Renee LeBoeuf. Grant applications will be available online at: www.raisingthebar.org.

 

2024-25 LBF Kids’ Chance Scholarship Program

LBF Kids’ Chance Scholarships are for dependents of Louisiana workers who have been killed or permanently and totally disabled in an accident compensable under a state or federal Workers’ Compensation Act or law. Applications for the 2024-25 academic year will be available online December 1, 2023. The deadline to apply is February 23, 2024.
