The Louisiana Bar Foundation (LBF) Kids’ Chance Scholarship Program is for dependents of Louisiana workers killed or permanently and totally disabled in a work accident. We are part of the national movement to help the families of injured workers. And Governor Jeff Landry has proclaimed October 13-17, 2025 Kids’ Chance Awareness Week in Louisiana!
The LBF is celebrating 21 years of awarding Kids’ Chance Scholarships! Since 2004, we have awarded 356 scholarships totaling $974,750.
National Kids’ Chance Week is October 13-17, 2025. Every state is working together to amplify the message, to expand awareness of this program. The goal is More Money for More Kids! With all 50 states now working side by side, this year’s theme, **Stronger Together**, reflects the power of our collective impact.
Join the national movement — for one day or the whole week. Every action counts, for we are truly stronger together.
