- Annual/Sustaining Grant applications are open October 1, 2026 – December 1, 2026
- Loan Repayment Assistance (LRAP) and LBF Kids’ Chance Scholarship applications are open December 1, 2026 – February 26, 2027
2027-28 LBF Annual/Sustaining Grants
For 501c3 organizations that lead community-driven efforts to help families facing non-criminal, civil legal challenges. Apply for LBF Grants here!
2027-28 Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP)
LRAP provides forgivable loans of up to $5,000 per year to attorneys working in a public interest position.
LRAP applications for 2027-28 funding will be available online beginning December 1, 2026. The deadline for submitting LRAP applications is February 26, 2027. For more information on LRAP click here or email Renee LeBoeuf. Applications will be available online at: www.raisingthebar.org.
2027-28 LBF Kids’ Chance Scholarship Program
LBF Kids’ Chance Scholarships are for dependents of Louisiana workers who have been killed or permanently and totally disabled in an accident compensable under a state or federal Workers’ Compensation Act or law. Applications for the 2027-28 academic year will be available online December 1, 2026. The deadline to apply is February 26, 2027.
