Anthony Sartorio
Anthony Sartorio earned a Juris Doctor with a certificate in International and Comparative Law from Tulane Law School in May 2009. He also earned a Paris Institute Certificate in European Legal Studies from the University of Paris-Sorbonne in the summer of 2007. As a law student Anthony externed with Catholic Charities Immigration and Refugee Services and the Louisiana American Civil Liberties Union, aiding in the representation of indigent clients in immigration and Bill of Rights issues. During the summer of 2008, he received a Tulane Law Public Interest Foundation grant to extern at the American Bar Association Commission on Immigration in Washington, D.C. Through this grant and working for the commission, he aided in the nationwide advocacy of immigration detainee issues. Anthony completed a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Literature from Boston College in May 2006. Anthony is originally from Pittston, Pennsylvania.
Debra J. Weinberg
Debra J. Weinberg earned a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in May 2009, as part of the David J. Epstein Program in Public Interest Law and Policy. In her summers during law school, Debra volunteered in New Orleans with the Advocacy Center and the Orleans Public Defenders Office. From 2007-2008, she was co-chairperson of UCLA Law's Downtown Housing Clinic on Los Angeles' Skid Row. She also served as president of the Disability Law Society, from 2008-2009. Prior to law school she worked in nonprofit social service organizations in Boston and San Francisco, primarily serving youth, the homeless and individuals with HIV/AIDS. Debra is originally from Potomac, Maryland.
